Black chalk, grey wash. Framing line in pen and brown ink along top and right side, in pen and grey ink along bottom and left side. Some foxing.

Watermark: Crowned coat of arms with French lily and monogram WR (cf. Kloek 1990, pp. 133-34, repr.).
Chain lines: 30-31 mm (h).
Inscribed on verso, lower left: Huis te Spangen (pencil); L N 12 (pencil).
Stamped on verso, lower left, with the collector's mark of J. de Vos Jbz. (L. 1450).
